Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Korean Neurosurgical Society, we would like to welcome all of you to the 58th Annual Meeting of the Korean Neurosurgical Society (KNS) with the 2nd Joint Meeting with the German Society of Neurosurgery (DGNC) which will be held on October 11th-13th, 2018 at The-K Hotel in Seoul, Korea.
Under the theme of “For Global Neurosurgery”, we have prepared an exciting scientific forum in which to share updates on the important issues within the field as well as discuss more extensive subjects. Especially, this year, we encourage the participation of the Asian neurosurgeons to facilitate not only the exchange the academic knowledge but also better communication among neurosurgeons in the regional area, and we are convincing that scholars in many different fields of neurosurgery from the Asia-Oceanic region are expected to participate in this October occasion.
Additionally, sessions have been planned to allow the lively exchange of ideas, in which we can share our studies and experiences on various areas. We have also arranged courses and lectures for nurses, medical physicists and basic science researchers to present and explain their works at the meeting.
Thus, the program will be highly informative for every participant and will continue to the enhancement of the scientific level and quality of our field. And to promote the participation from foreign countries, we will organize the program of this meeting in English as an official language.
We have also arranged a string of colorful social programs including the Welcome Reception, Gala Dinner and German-Korean Friendship Night which we hope all our participants will enjoy.
We hope you will join for the 58th Annual Meeting of the Korean Neurosurgical Society (KNS) with the 2nd Joint Meeting with the German Society of Neurosurgery (DGNC) and enjoy Seoul during the most beautiful season of the year.
